Our “Pet of the Month” for June is a very lucky little cocker spaniel mix named “Gidget”. Recently while out for her regular afternoon walk Gidget was attacked by a large neighborhood dog. She ended up with multiple bite wounds. Her owners Darin and Julie brought her into the Animal Clinic of Tustin Ranch where emergency surgery was immediately performed. Gidget had suffered rather extensive injuries that just missed damaging her major organs and could have been fatal! Her story does have a happy ending; we are thrilled to report that she has recovered fully from her injuries. Congratulations Gidget on being ACTRI’s Pet of the Month. We are all glad you’re back to your normal happy ‘tail wagging’ self (and we apologize for the funny looking haircut!)
